Eric Harary

There are DJs who play records. There are DJs who blow minds.

If you have been fortunate enough to experience Eric Harary live then you will agree that he is part of the later.

A self-taught drummer/musician hailing from Brooklyn, NY, who picked up DJing from his older brother, his musical roots are based in jazz-rock fusion, funk, industrial, experimental and world music; later progressing into electronic dance and its culture by early 2000.

His sets are littered with his own productions, private edits, rare acapellas, and even rarer cuts, his style can be described as deep, dark, raw, hard, soulful, and seductive filled with emotion, intensity and relentless energy. He strives to create magic and memorable moments like the legendary big room DJs that have come before him: Danny Tenaglia (a huge supporter of his production work) and Victor Calderone (whom he has played alongside of several times). Eric is a true student of these great DJs, how they communicate through music and tell a story during their sets. Further influences include Chris Liebing, Gary Beck, Luciano, Joris Voorn, DJ Vibe, Carlos Fauvrelle, and Peter Bailey.

Eric has played Womb (Tokyo), Purple Room (Dubai), Batyr (Russia), Karu & Y (Miami), Emerald City (Philadelphia), Pacha, Cielo, Love and Discotheque (NYC). Currently, studio and production work has consumed his schedule with releases planned on Session Trax to follow up his work with Meridua and Overskin Recordings, with an international tour planned for January.

Danny Tenaglia on Eric Harary:
"Eric has great taste & talents! People & club promoters ought to BE keepin’ their eyes & ears on HIM!"

Peace & Respect, dt
